Send Email From Heaven -- Share Your Love, Faith, Or Even Favorite Jokes & Recipes -- ELC Announces Soft Launch Of Online Legacy Communication Services
Eterna Link Communications (ELC) announced today the soft launch of The Eternal Portal, a
non-partisan Christian site offering Heaven's Mail and Online Memorial services,
revolutionary concepts allowing the aged and terminally ill persons to keep in touch with their
loved ones by providing them the means to prepare and store emails, cards and memorial
invitations months or years in advance of their delivery, to send to selected family and friends
posthumously, on the dates or occasions of their choosing, optionally for up to 100 years into
the future.
Golden Square, Australia (PRWEB) November 2, 2005 -- Eterna Link Communications (ELC) announced
today the soft launch of The Eternal Portal, a non-partisan Christian site offering Heaven's Mail and Online
Memorial services, revolutionary concepts allowing the aged and terminally ill persons to keep in touch with
their loved ones by providing them the means to prepare and store emails, cards and memorial invitations
months or years in advance of their delivery, to send to selected family and friends posthumously, on the dates
or occasions of their choosing, optionally for up to 100 years into the future.
The idea of the system is to better ensure ELC client's are not quickly forgotten by enabling them to continue
to send birthday, anniversary and holiday cards to loved ones to whom they wish to share their enduring love
and affection, to enable clients to offer hope of a future reunion or to pass on their favorite jokes and recipes
(and other hard-earned wisdom) to their prodigy well into the future, throughout the lifetimes of their
surviving children and friends. Those who are fans of Garth Brooks/Ronan Keaton's hit song, IF
TOMORROW NEVER COMES, will appreciate our efforts", said Nathan Martyn, director of ELC.
"ELC is not an investment opportunity. We do not expect to earn huge profits from its endeavor". Rather, the
founders, an Australian software developer and a US patent attorney, have chosen ELC as their vehicle to
make a small contribution to humanity. "Of course ELC will have to charge for the services, in order to ensure
the money is there to adapt the technology to changing platforms and to enable the purchase of gift items that
clients wish that ELC deliver along with letters", said John Moetteli, a member of the Board of Advisors. "We
believe our clients, those who wish to be remembered, offer hope and keep in touch with their loved ones, will
understand and pay for our services, but we have no plans to of going public".
"To better ensure that the market for our services is sufficient to cover the costs, steps have been taken to
protect the intellectual property behind our Heaven's Mail services and dynamic memorial sites are protected,"
said Nathan Martyn. "We are dedicated to the concept of ELC services and personally motivated to see that
they are sustainable." ELC welcomes the constructive comments and criticisms of the public particularly as
this site begins its first year of activity--now that our basic services are operational, next year should bring
further innovations and foreign language sites to serve a wider clientele.
