Angela Faye Bland-Arnold, age 45, of Avondale, Arizona was granted her angel wings on August 27, 2009. Angela Faye Bland-Arnold was born January 10, 1964 in Memphis, Tennessee to William and Jessie Mae Bland Sr. She was a member of Temple Faith Church and a graduate of Horace Mann High School Class of 1982. Before her illness Angela worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant, which was characteristic of her caring for others.

She was preceded in death by grandparents Woodrow and Doris Bland and Jessie and Lilly Burrow, sister Evelyn Yevette Bland, nephew Terry Lee Hudson Jr., and niece Annette Hudson.

She leaves to cherish her memories: parents William and Jessie Mae Bland Sr. of Gary; three children LaMeka R. Bland, Bryon L. Angela was a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, niece, cousin, and friend.  Her beautiful spirit and smile filled our hearts.  Her personality was gentle, quite, and loving regardless of the situations.  She had an intimate relationship with God that kept her sprits high in spite of her illness also a strong believer.  She always found time to pray with others never thinking twice about herself.  She was not complicated she appreciated her life and those that she shared it with.
