one of the greatest actors, my childhood, and adult life spent watching each movie you made. All the great actors have passed on and I miss each of you!

One of my girlhood heroes, and I still watch his films with much pleasure, though I am an old lady now. Such good diction, oh how I miss that in an age of mumbling - usually in the name of authenticity!

Recently I watched "The Keys of the Kingdom" and "The Yearling" and quickly became a fan of his. His voice, mannerisms, the love, comfort and encouragement he gave to people, the concern he had for those less fortunate, such as in the movie, "To Kill a Mockingbird", his warm smile, the comical characteristic he had, he could give commands to his crew and they obeyed and trusted him as a good friend. About 8 or 9 years ago, my wife, Dorothy, and I visited Fresno, California to hear Gregory Peck lecture on his life and his career. He was a fine actor (one of my favorites) and appeared in many great movies. My condolences to his dear family and friends. I'm sure his spirit and soul is with us.
