Intro text

This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved Joesph Grace who was born in Toronto Canada on 2nd October 1932 and passed away on 4th June 1991, 58 years of age. Husband, and Father of 8 and Grandfather of 24. He was a member of St Raphael Catholic Church , and served as an usher, Member at the Nights of Columbus.Coached Hockey in Garden City ,and was a Master Electrician by trade.  He played Hockey as a boy growing up in Canada and had remarkable talent in baseball .  He remembered those who where less fortunate , helped out neighbors and family members . Spent time sharing his story of his Irish Heritage, he was proud of,  Gave what he had to others, even if it was all he had, I learned a great deal from my Father as all of us had. He taught us your name means something, and we felt a place of purpose, He taught us that life is what you make it and don't give up, anything is possible, He was a strong person, a hard worker, a dedicated husband and Father and I am proud to call him Dad, I miss more than words can explain, and nothing can take his place,  Even now he really isn't gone, because I remember what he told all of us, Remember your a GRACE and you will find your way, If anybody can you can, For all the words of encouragement the times , the memories, DAD WE LOVE AND MISS YOU

I remember father as strong, a survivor, and intelligent. He is where I learned what it takes to go out in the world and make something of yourself. Education was my choice and I love it. Father went to college when I was a child and it had a huge influence on my life decisions. I remember him saying "America offers education, whether or not you choose to take advantage of it is up to you" That man offered so many tools to assist us in being independent and confident. He died way too young. I know he would be so proud to have a daughter as a college professor. I bet he knows.
