This memorial website was created in the memory of our beloved Mia-Alison Parker who was born in Malibu California on 25th December 1994 and passed away on 27th June 2007, 12 years of age.
Mia was granted her angel wings on June 27 in an accident caused by drunk driving. She was born on Christmas morning 1994 although her due date wasn't untill 2 months later. We always said she didn't want to miss Christmas. She was incredably strong for being as smalll as she was, not just during her first days in the NICU, but throughout her whole life. She grew up loving all sports, games and the outdoors.
She loved everyone she met and was loved by all. Her sister Yvaine was her best friend they were only one year apart in age and were as close as possible. They were never apart. Mia always loved the water and surfing was her favorite thing to do. She was always up at six in the moring for dawn patrol with her father, Yvaine and her best friend Jade. At her favorite beach her surfboard was covered in flowers and set away to sail forever. She was a beautiful child inside and out and will never be forgoten. Please don't let another inocent death happen.
